Gyro Plus has the best baklava I've ever tasted, made fresh in-house! Their gyros are delicious and filling, and their lentil soup is so flavorful! Fast, friendly service as well. It was my first visit, after hearing a friend say how amazing this place is. I can't wait to go back & try everything else on the menu.
I had the chicken Giro plate today. It was delicious. It comes with a pita, humus and a small side salad. It is a large serving so i took the leftovers home. The restaurant itself is basic and the bathroom needed to be cleaned. But overall I recommend it for the food.
Worth the visit , authentic taste , I felt like having a lunch in Middle East . Very nice staff ( probably owners ) . Try it when you are around, their hummus and pita is very good. Support local Restaurants.
Felt like a gyro so stopped here while in Gainesville today. Food is fantastic! Hot & plentiful! The pita was so fresh & soft! You definitely get what you pay for here. Huge selection of freshly baked baklava too! Service was also very good! We'll be returning!
Some of the best food in gainesville! Love the gyros, the greek salad is delicious, the hummus is amazing, and the fries are always crispy and fresh!
The food here is amazing. It's a good idea to order ahead because the preparation takes a while. The pitas are fresh made and the best in town! The hummus is made in house and is also better than anything at any super market, or at any other restaurant. The baklava is fantastic. The prices are quite reasonable, and the portion sizes are too. I usually get gyros or falafel, with a side of hummus and pita. The customer service is curt, but I would not say rude. Just don't expect a red carpet.
This place is amazing, it is a culinary equivalent of Lo-Fi. Everything is delicious, and I feel like I've been transported into an 80s movie every time I eat here
This is in my opinion the best Mediterranean food in Gainesville. Owners (I think they are Lebanese) cook and manage the whole thing. The food is so fresh and delicious, they have vegetarian options and all their meat is halal. My favorite is the beef and lamb platter. their hummus is unbelievable ????Don’t leave without trying the absolutely amazing baklavas. 5 STARS
Everyone working there was super nice! We got the chicken gyro, Greek salad, hummus, pita, fries and baklava. Everything-I mean everything- was DELICIOUS. 10/10 I’m coming back.
The Halal Beef Gyro Meat dinner was simply scrumptious. They have a huge variety of menu options so everyone can find something. There are also vegan and vegetarian friendly options. My only suggestion is call and order before you arrive. The wait can be up to a half hour because it really is a popular place and well worth waiting for.
